We had a great ‘getting to know you’ time on Megan and Louis’ engagement shoot and we knew, straight away that we were in for a treat at their wedding! Megan and Louis who grew up in Wiltshire and hold the countryside close to their hearts and knew immediately they discovered Wellington Barn, that that was the perfect venue for them. This outstanding wedding venue, off the beaten track and set amongst rolling hills is absolutely fabulous and certainly looked at it’s best on this glorious summer’s day. A few tears were shed on the way up the aisle as the theme from Titanic was played (a film which meant a lot to Megan and her father) but as soon as the ceremony began huge smiles took over! Friends had come from far and wide with quite a lot from the racing fraternity. 24/7, the fantastic live band, took over in the evening and with a packed the floor, everyone partied on way after Megan and Louis had left!
We first met Liz at her cousin’s wedding and so we couldn’t have been more excited when Liz, about two years later, announced her engagement and asked us to photograph her wedding to Simon.
Liz and Simon’s wedding was an exceptionally happy day especially for the two little bridesmaids who, by being best friends at school had brought this gorgeous couple together. The wedding took place at Christ Church, Worton – a beautiful Grade II listed building hidden away up a drive which certainly was too much of a challenge for the magnificent stretch limousine which delivered the Groom, Best Man and Ushers to the church!
The service was followed by a fabulous reception at The Bear Hotel, Devizes. Everyone enjoyed a delicious Wedding Breakfast in the very elegant Ballroom and the speeches, which caused a great deal of laughter, were excellent – by now the party was in full flow, Liz and Simon danced to their favourite ‘All of Me’ by John Legend and everyone happily partied into the night.
Many more congratulations to the new Mr and Mrs Drewitt and thank you again for asking us to photograph your special day.
Nana and John are such a fun loving, creative couple that (especially having loved every minute of their engagement shoot) I could hardly wait for their wedding – I knew it was going to be one of the best! The intimate wedding ceremony, held early that morning in The Parlour of Park House – a beautiful Georgian building dating back to 1690, set in Horsham Park and with its own gorgeous gardens – was relaxed and happy. The sun streamed in and Nana, stunning in a fabulous Ted Baker dress and John, in a smart linen suit, looked radiant. After the ceremony and a few photos in the Park House gardens we all headed back for the reception at John’s family home in the heart of Sussex.
Jessie and Joe wanted a Wedding with a country feel and they did it in style. Wick Farm has the most beautiful
converted threshing barn in the middle of stunning countryside with views over the Westbury White Horse.
Wick Farm is the most perfect venue for a country wedding and it certainly looked it’s best on this gloriously sunny day.
Jessie looked a million dollars in her breathtaking Pronovias dress and her twin bridesmaids looked gorgeous in
Very many congratulations to the new Mr and Mrs Taylor…..we were thrilled to be part of your special day.
I hope you enjoy your photos as much as we loved taking them!
